The Chakras

The Chakras are energy centers that the old Indian healing system stands at seven points along the body. Is a connection between the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The balance of these centers has great importance to health. The name comes from the Sanskrit Chakra that means wheel. It is a spiral of energy that is in continuous motion. Its function is to transform the higher vibrational ki in mental and physical energy. This energy flows through channels that run throughout the body called Nadis in the Indian system, or meridians, in the Chinese system. They say that this center can not have locks, which can only be more or less developed. As the center continues to develop we enter the spiritual dimension of peace, joy, harmony and Love. The poor development of this chakra accentuates the feeling of being alone in the world, disconnected from everything and everyone, in the midst of hostility .
